Topic 1: Who is the owl? The owl, whose name is Kaepora Gaebora, is very mysterious, and probably symbolic of something that I haven't thought of yet, as there is much symbolism in ocarina of time. But who is he in the story? what is his motive? That is what I would like to discuss here. My theory: Well, he obviously has some connection to the spirit temple, as that is the place he is seen most frequently as a kid, and is the only place he is seen as an adult. He always flies toward the desert after you talk to him, no matter where you are. Another thing: The gerudos are all females, except one male born every hundred years to become king (this leads one to wonder where all the Gerudos come from if there are no males the rest of the time. I thought about posting this as a theory topic, but decided not to, because this is a G-rated site.) My belief is that Kaepora Gaebora is a reincarnation of Gannon's predecessor. Yes, I know that there is a Gossip stone that implies that he is a reincarnation of Rauru, but that isn't possible, simply because Rauru came after Kaepora Gaebora.
